I have worked for and been coached by great leaders throughout my life. They all have one characteristic in common: service first, results second. Inc writer Marcel Schwantes discusses three traits/behaviors which will cultivate a rewarding work environment for the team:

This type of leadership can be lonely, however, I can say the managers and coaches I regularly stay in touch with all have these wonderful traits.
